Worship Theme:  The Suffering Church
Sermon Title:    "Partaking in Christ's Sufferings"
Sermon Text:     Revelation 1: 9
Preaching:         Rev. Lou Veiga
Sermon Outline:  I. The Bondservants of God Share in Jesus' Sufferings
II. Sharing in Jesus' Sufferings Requires Patient                                                Endurance
III. The Bondservants of God Suffer Because They Are                                        Faithful Witnesses
As a bondservant of God and Jesus Christ you partake of the sufferings of His kingdom.  Your suffering tribulation at the hands of the wicked has been decreed by God for the Last Days; these sufferings will simply not go away.  This means that you are called to patiently endure as a Christian to the end.  You must reconcile yourself to the truth that fidelity to the Word of God and to the testimony of Jesus will bring the world's hatred and acrimony.  This is because Satan has blinded the eyes of the world, and sinners are his captives which slavishly do his bidding.  The most eminent bondservants of God in church history  have experienced great tribulation in these Last Days -- be of good cheer, Jesus has overcome the world!

5:00 PM  Evening Worship Service

Worship Theme:  The Needy Church
Sermon Title:   "Caring For the Church"
Sermon Text:   Titus 3: 12-15
Preaching:        Rev. Lou Veiga
Sermon Outline:  I.  Christian Leaders Must Minister to the Urgent Needs of                                 the Church
II.  All Christians Must Minister to the Urgent Needs of the                                Church
III.  Christians Minister to One Another in Love By God's                                      Grace
Christ’s church will always be in need of ministry in this present age. There are urgent spiritual needs that require the attention of church leaders. There are urgent material and other needs that require the attention of other Christians who are not elders or ministers. Believers must learn to minister to one another in love by the grace which Christ provides to his people.

Our Pledge to Visitors: What You Can Expect If You Visit Us Next Sunday
We will worship God only as He has prescribed in His Holy Scriptures.  We do not manipulate consciences or levy man-made rules and practices on the people of God.  We love this liberty because the Son of God has made us free (John 8:36).
We will worship God by delivering His whole counsel to His people.  We teach the whole of the Bible, because Jesus Christ has commanded us to teach it (Matthew 28:18-20).

We will preach sermons in consecutive order through entire books of the Bible without side-stepping the difficult texts (Acts 20:26, 27).  We find harmony in the Scriptures; therefore we explain the meaning of the whole Bible and apply its teachings practically for your Christian walk.
We will not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus and Him crucified.  We declare that we are bereft of any righteousness of our own.  We freely confess our sin every week.  But the good news is that God saves sinners and justifies the ungodly through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 4:5).  We glory in Christ and in the righteousness that is imputed to us through faith in Him (Philippians 3:8-10; Titus 3:5).

“This is the covenant I will make ... declares the Lord.  I will put my laws in their minds and
write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people” (Hebrews 8:10).
