Transforming Hearts, Conforming to Christ

There are many ways for the members of Covenant to reach out and minister to others in our congregation, our neighborhood, our city, and our world.  Here are just a few.

Missionaries :
Covenant is involved in the global ministry of the Word of God by actively supporting missionaries financially and through prayer (Mt. 28:18-20).
Annual Projects:
Baby Bottle Bonanza's---Women's Pregnancy Center's annual fundraiser
Holiday Food Drive
Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child

Gospel of John Project - March, 2010
Disaster Relief:

Covenant has provided disaster relief assistance by volunteering for cleanup efforts and donating relief funds.

Hurricanes Harvey (TX), Michael (FL),  Laura (LA) and tropical storm (LA)
Teams of Covenant members assisted in clean-up efforts after these major storms.
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
Covenant was a drop-off point for hurricane relief donations after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  Items were dropped off at the church building on the covered porch until 3 p.m. each day.

Hurricane Ike
Covenant adopted a single mom and her handicapped 3-year-old son to help with their immediate needs. After the family evacuated for the hurricane, their apartment caught on fire, destroying almost everything they owned. Covenant members donated clothing, toys, dishes, pots & pans, diapers & wipes...

"Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame." 1 Peter 2:6

I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go into the house of the LORD."  Psalm 122:1
